A Website Manifesto

A website is more than just a collection of pages, images, links. I believe a truly well-designed website can be a virtual representation of identity, mission, and vision. It can highlight your values, communicate intuitively with your visitors, and act as virtual representation of character and brand.

I believe a well-designed website can be transformative for your organization, or if you are an individual, your self-representation and identity. The process of designing and creating your website should provide insight into your organization or vision, help you to make decisions about brand and identity,  and help clarify your business goals, values, and style. This process and the resulting site can be a point of increased morale, inspiration, and excitement.

A website should be a living, dynamic digital representative of your personal or company brand. The design and structure of the site should support the ongoing needs of the organization, creating systems for maintenance and updating that make your life easier, not harder.

Your website should integrate seamlessly into your broader communications strategy and marketing goals.  A well-designed website is also a thought-out communications plan. Consideration for your organization or personal communication goals should be integrated into the web design process from the start.

Through transparency, clarity, and direct expression of your brand, a well-designed site can reach all your stakeholders’ needs, integrate with your broader communications strategy and day-to-day operations, and simply make your life easier. I am committed to working in partnership with you and your organization to achieve these goals and help make your website work for you.
